Mission Statement

St. Mina Retreat Center was established in order to provide an opportunity for learning, an atmosphere for meditation, and a forum for spiritual counseling. Orthodox Christian teachings and values are at the core of our foundation; the Holy Bible, coupled with two-thousand years of Holy Apostolic Tradition, is our main source of guidance. At the heart of our mission is the desire to provide the human soul with all the resources she needs to become a disciple of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We will help guide the soul to her Creator by encouraging meditation and study of His words. Also, we will advise each individual how to apply these words and live the Lord's commandments after they leave the peaceful setting of the Retreat Center. Personal counseling is also offered at the Center in order to provide the human soul with everything she needs to utilize all goodness, to develop a positive and healthy outlook towards life, and to prepare for eternity.
